Notes
• PixelCat is a picture viewer.
• It can open and save PICT files and StartupScreens.
• It can open the Japanese formats G68, MAG, MAKI, Pi, PIC, and Q4.
• It can also open GIF and JPEG(JFIF).
• It can show previews when opening, and make a catalog of them.
• It can show a slide show of all of the files in a folder or on a disk.
• It can combine multiple files into one picture.
Changes from 1.6.4 to 1.6.5
• Fixed a bug that made it not work with catalogs that included an alias
to a file on another disk.
• Fixed a bug that made it fail to load GIFs with 24-bit addressing (it
was dangerous with 32-bit addressing also. Be sure to upgrade)
• Increased the maximum number of files in a catalog from 256 to 2048.
Warnings
• The JPEG save function that was in 1.5.x is no longer included.
• With the addition of the catalog function, the slide show operation has
changed
• The procedure for making custom icons is different than before.
(It preserves the length and width of the picture)
• Increase the application memory size to deal with large full-color
pictures, such as JPEG ones, and when displaying slide shows on large
monitors.
• The default settings are:
It will attach a custom icon and preview to files that it opens.
It will change the file type and creator of files that it opens.
Set these as you would like from the Prefs menu.
